Maybe it’s because I’m relatively new here, but I was so confused throughout this whole thing. I genuinely wanted to know y’all’s opinions on the game, but for 49 minutes it’s questions that y’all have for each other on the most random things, and then for about 5 or so minutes it’s a brief exchange on the game (with about another 5 or so mixed in on BG3, I’m assuming CoD [due to the mentioning of ‘Soap’], and Fallout), before the cut away for the members only portion. The brief exchange didn’t really go into any real detail of the game, was just kinda general and vague. “DA:TV; was it good?” “Yeah, it was fun, you’d like it.” “Cool.”

I strongly disagree especially after replaying Origins before Veilguard. Veilguard felt like a shell of the former Dragon Age games. I also did not like the gameplay moving towards the new God of War games (hack and slashy) because it made the series feel a bit more generic. I noticed enemies almost never targeted my companions so you could cheese fights from the bad Ai. I just think BioWare played it way too safe.

@@GrimViridian yeah and I agree, but I was trying to keep my criticism as fair as I could. I feel like some people are hating on it just to do it. And “bad writing” can be chalked up to a matter of “opinion”, which is why I said compared to Origins it shows that it is significantly worse than a game that came out 15 years ago. I don’t know how anyone can justify the gameplay when you can kite an enemy and it’ll chase you forever and ignore your companions hitting it lol

@Sleepvertical fair enough lol I don't think Jacob is usually worried about most of that anyway, he seems more like the fun action spectacle guy then the lore nerd (for the most part) which is fine, but I'm constantly shocked when I see the high ratings for VG, more so that it was nominated for an award

I cant tell if this is one of your bad takes or just new game feeling but man, idk how you can like the awful dreamworks like redesign, the darkspawn look terrible. The awful writing, mind numbingly easy puzzles, the fact that its literally impossible to be even a little mean, and the character whos whole personality is "im non binary and hate the qun, but also im gonna quote the qun at you when it suits me, also did you know im non binary??" Lol, older games did lgbt MUCH better
