Was there a part of this where you identify the field you are filtering on in the layer, I am attempting to apply this to my own data and I cannot get it to filter and I'm not sure where/how to assign the field

Thanks for this detailed tutorial. It helps me a lot to understand how create a widget on experience Builder. But unfortunately i still have this error when i declared the property "props" cauz it doesn't exist on type Setting... . Do you know why ? But anyway, thanks again for this tuto !
