ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity Tutorial: Adding 3D Scene Layer Objects and Creating a Scene using C#

Class is in session! In this tutorial, I will give you some hands-on experience of how you can start to begin to build video games using the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity. Specifically, in this tutorial, you will learn how you can add 3D Objects Scene layers that are published to ArcGIS online into a Unity scene that will be used to create a map using the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity. In particular, I will show you how you can create the scene using C# code. The hands-on example is based on a tutorial that is linked below. However, I make a point of showing you how you can start to think independently from the tutorial so that you can begin to build your own map-based video game experiences. If you are interested in learning more about how geographic information systems (GIS) can be used to build video games using the Unity technology, this video will be of interest for you to get started in this direction. This video was recorded during one of my lectures at the Rochester Institute of Technology and is part of a bigger series on how to begin using the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Unity

Thanks for the tutorial, it helped clarify some things for me and I got it working. The ArcGIS page was a bit confusing and I wish they had a link to a working copy or an image of the code so that we make sure that we placed the code correctly. Nevertheless, their tutorials are overall really helpful. Thanks again!

I've liked and already subscribed--you have some good stuff. I'm configuring the build for VR to train ML-Agents. Any vids on that would be highly appreciated.
