It may not be my style of bike but - it would be churlish to not appreciate the craftsmanship that's gone into its hand-made manufacture; hats off to ARCH!

to be fair it looks like it doesn't know what it wants to be. Even the V-Max as a muscle bike performance cruiser still has more identitt as a cruiser than this bike. People hating on it because there are decent bikes out there for way cheaper. Yes there are. But arch customizes the bike to fit the customers body and ergonomics to make it as comfortable and fun to ride as possible plus bespoke choices on detail. They're not going after the same customers as harley, suzuki, yamaha etc. Those brands pump out many bikes that are good and are cheap. Arch makes bikes custom to each individual. That's why it costs more obviously.

Not overpriced. Figure how much time and effort went into building these bikes. The design, engineering, equipment, prototyping, and manufacturing. I mean, people complain about chinese stuff being junk but they still buy it because its cheap. They use it for a day and it breaks...because its cheap. Here you have a highly handcrafted machine that the attention to detail was like no other since they aren't mass produced...and people complain they are overpriced. How much would someone have to pay you, per hour, to design, cnc, and assemble, test, and QC a bike? Probably the same rate they charge. Overpriced? A completely custom motorcycle designed from the ground up by a celebrity. Nope.

The rake and trail seem extreme for a bike that seems to handle well. And that swing arm seems endless. I can see why you may have doubts about it handling ability after looking at how long it is. In the wash up it is typically an excessive American project. It seems as though the company is trying to replicate the production and quality methods of Crocker, and we know what happened to them. I guess if these become collectors items in 50 years, that wouldn't be such a bad effort.

Obviously a huge accomplishment becoming an actual bona fide motorcycle manufacturer, never mind having a product that actually works well. Kudos. So function appears to be there, now how about form? The components parts apparent top notch quality, may not quite come together as a whole deserving of said parts and there's the rub. Hard not to make comparisons to Confederate Motorcycles, where although the historic build quality/dependability was an issue, they certainly had the the unique stand out "wow factor" which somewhat validated the price tag. Arch are very good looking, quality component, well performing motorcycles, and deserve respect, but they need a bit more distinctive and unique styling. Having said that, if one has the money, they likely are getting good value for it in any case. I would make a humble suggestion to Arch however, consider having Keanu host one or two rides per year, for owners only. Yes, the product is it's own reward for buying, but business is business and Keanu has such a great public presence and image, so why not leverage that a bit more towards exclusive ownership experiences. I imagine that would be rewarding experience both ways, for Keanu and his team, and for the bike owners.
