An Archaeodeath Interview with Dr Tom Booth, who is a Senior Laboratory Research Scientist in the Skoglund Ancient Genomics Laboratory at The Francis Crick Institute. Tom has a BSc in Archaeological Science (2007), an MSc in Human Osteology (2008) and Funerary Archaeology and PhD in Bioarchaeology (2014), all from the University of Sheffield. For the last ten years Tom has been working on various projects involving the biomolecular analysis of archaeological human bone from Britain, mainly the analysis of ancient DNA. He is currently working on a Wellcome-Trust funded project which is aiming to sequence whole genomes from at least 1000 people who lived in Britain over the last 10,000 years.’
