Can you imagine if an artifact - like a stone - was discovered and could be truly identified as a remnant from the Holy of Holies?! That would be magnificent!✡

News flash!! Not one Arab in juda at the time.

I wonder if they would make replicas of it. That's precious.

Is it possible to identify the nature of the stone? After all it is black, like meteorite material. In addition, could the winged creature hint to the Cherubim?
@Akiva_Merkava3 ай бұрын
Not a Cherubim or Seraphim. It is likely intended to represent the angel of the lord. Christians would call him Michael.

the winged man is the angel of the lord. not god or a god. illiterates shouldn't discuss such things.

Something does not sound right. That sounds like a fake artifact, in my opinion. Plus, you can't carbon date stone, so that was a smart move.

More proof that Jews worshipped Assyrian gods in Jerusalem at 700 b.c. They didn't worship "one god" until after they underwent the Babylonian Captivity, about 500 b.c., and learned Zoroastrianism from the Persians. Isra-EL was named after the Canaanite god.
@Akiva_Merkava3 ай бұрын
The significance of the seal is that it confirms traditional assertions regarding the Davidic era. And the winged man on the seal is intended to represent the angel of god, not Zoroaster. Academics don't claim early Jews were monotheist during David's time. They were mono-idolaters of YHWH at this stage, not yet mono-theists. You are actually repeating the consensus view but don't let me interrupt you.

The Canaanite at the time was not arab they were and are Arameans.
