One thing you guys should remember, David is a shepherd who knows the minute details of the land knowing where there is water and green pasture and where he can keep them in a secluded place away from the predators. He is a smart kid and experienced shepherd.

And I work for a home landscape company and we sell the type of river pebbles David would have found in the brook there. They are extremely dense and easily could have knocked out a warrior of placed in the forehead I was amazed at the possibility after handling these small River Pebbles.

I was surprised by the comment of the young man in the baseball hat, about the blind man on the road to Jericho in Luke 18, commenting about the dusty desert road. The road to Jericho at that time was a major route, which is why the blind beggar chose that location, i.e. more foot traffic meant more donations. Jericho was a major city, one of Palestine's three taxing districts. The smell of roses was noticed as you approached Jericho. Zacchaeus was a chief tax collector, who also saw the trade route as an excellent source for taxation. The road was lined with sycamore trees, thus giving Zacchaeus a place to see the Lord as he passed by. The city was known for it's beauty and splendor, so much so that Mark Antony gifted the city to Cleopatra. The city was known for its medicinal balm.

I watch this series often and that is because I am always moved by Barry as he reads David's words. It is so special to see a man of God moved, visibly moved by God's Word. Far too often the content is presented in a detached, clinical and even cold narrative. So teach centered...this is God's Word and in Israel.Thank you Barry for allowing that moment to stay in the series.

As I watched this presentation I was moved to tears when I realised the passion & the love David had for God. As a Spirit filled believer I can identify with all the men & women in the Bible who were lovers of God. Especially those that were anointed or had the Spirit of God upon them. Their God is my God. It is easy to understand their response to God & their failures as well. This video has the hand of God on it. There is a beautiful, sweet intensity in the narrative as it moves towards the end. As someone who has studied the Bible for a lifetime, I find this search for archaeological evidence of the United Kingdom of Israel deeply fascinating and profoundly meaningful. I’ve traveled through Israel myself, and I can say with conviction that nowhere else on earth does the Bible feel so alive. The very land seems to breathe the stories, the faith, and the history of the Abrahamic religions. I vividly recall standing in a Crusader-built monastery overlooking a valley, listening to a Southern preacher quote the Bible with such passion that the final moments of Saul seemed to unfold right before my eyes. It was as though the ancient stories rose from the earth itself, tangible and undeniable. For a disciple of any Abrahamic faith, I believe there’s nothing quite like walking the streets of Jerusalem, traveling the roads of Israel, and touching the places we hold dear. The land is compact, like a diamond formed under immense pressure-every corner multifaceted, every inch steeped in history. Just as Muslims strive to complete the Hajj, I feel every follower of the Abrahamic faiths should strive to experience Israel firsthand, where faith and history converge in ways that leave you forever changed.

Thank you for introducing yourself!! I’ve never experienced a teacher doing that. Before I subscribe to a Bible teacher, I look them up to see who they are and what POV they have in general. I don’t want to follow anything but biblical truth, the truth of God, the truth lived and presented by Jesus the Messiah. I love the land of the Bible. To think that only 5% of Israel's historicity has been uncovered and everything that is found proves the reliability of of God's Word would decrease critics. Yet, the secular world will continue to deny what our faith allows us to prove is accurate. The Bible is truth. It is historically correct and that proves it can be trusted. There’s definitely something moving and emotional when you can stand inside the bubble. Growing up in the church, we know the stories, but walking in biblical history is breathtaking. The moment I breathed the Israeli air, I was overcome with a sense of peace and joy while at the very same time I felt a sense of anxiousness and grief for all that was experienced in this land over time. You are overcome with awe and gratefulness of the goodness of our God. You bring back this sense while educating. Thank you for this type of “preaching”. Your videos are inspiring.

The devil was in the minds and words of David's comrades as they encouraged him to kill King Saul. But because David was a person after God's Own Heart, he was able to stand firm in God & His Promises... He would not raise a hand to slay a king chosen & anointed by God... Was puzzled at first when I heard the presenters talking about the United Kingdom...coming from Britain, or the United Kingdom as it is called here. This was because I missed seeing the opening credits of the programme. Then I quickly realised, of course, they meant the United Kingdom of Israel! I have been reading the Bible over the past year and am familiar with many of the places mentioned. Wonderful to see them in reality.

Thanks a lot for this documentary , it really helps , sometimes you read an article here or there , and starts having questions but it is so encouraging to see Christians that aren't afraid and have the faith to ask questions and to see that the Lord always have answers and keeps surprising archaeologists..
