Archaeologists uncover new evidence for Younger Dryas impact hypothesis

The Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis says that pieces of a comet crashed into Earth 12,800 years ago, setting off environmental change that wiped out the wooly mammoth.
A new paper by Christopher Moore, an archaeologist in the South Carolina Institute for Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of South Carolina, outlines new evidence for this hypothesis.

I got pictures of the side of a mountain in WV were an impact debris hit the side of a vitrified rock shelf at least 2500 ft elevation. Tiny piece but big crater. Faces NW toward the proposed impact ( the main one) in correlation with Carolina bays formation.

Hey there i would like to discuss water from the YDB with you. I have a vision of the SE pressurized by water. I call it the dam effect. This could in fact explain water erosion at the Pleistocene shelf going east durring and after these event. Witch would eliminate the need for the ocean erosion idea for the Carolina bays. It would put the bays back in line with these events 13kya. I’ve found evidence for pressure relief going up the coast. Chris thinks the dam effect is not possible but I think he is being bias. Being he suggests the ocean as the only culprit.
