Religion - look at the diversity of the Christian church since our colonies til now. Much is dramatically different. Fields- come to Texas. Fields that were worked up until the 80’s are not recognizable as fields now. And we did far more to the surface than these folks did. In the surface, a corn field may not be recognizable now.
