I don't like the fact it got banned, cause I saw it like early gen Snorlax honestly. Hugely bulky, great offense, can hard wall powercreeped physical attackers while still being killable. Though just like Barraskewda (and Basculegion in ubers) it had a tendencey to [1v6, arch at 100% HP] --> [Archaludon wins, 1% HP].

@@EvelynIsBased hey, if you ever get the chance, you should totally do a video on why koraidon and miraidon are banned in natdex ubers, but not sv ubers. i havent seen anyone explain that yet as far as i know

Doesn’t sound that buster. Solar beam is a one turn as well with sun, which is easy to set up.

True! But Solar Beam also is a 120 Base power move instead of 130, not that it's a huge difference, but the core part is that Electro Shot boosts SpA first, and then, hits with a 130 Base Power move. Solar Beam would be very busted as well if it provided an essentially stacking choice specs bonus on each use, on top of its good coverage for Sun teams. And that's not the end because not even special walls, like Blissey as I mentioned in the video, can protect against it due to Body Press, unless a team chooses to waste a Tera on one mon that can't even defeat Archaludon, especially given that Archaludon could just swap out at that point to dodge a thunder wave. It is all matter of opinion though, I just made this to collect some facts about it as a general thing :)

Yes, but Solar Beam doesn't double as a +1 offensive buff. The more appropriate comparison is Power-up Punch, which is also a single turn move that increases attack by one stage, and that has a power of 40. Given that it's over three times stronger than its closest equivalent in exchange for requiring weather, that's kind of a huge deal.

Except A. Grass is a far worse offensive typing than Electric B. On average, Rain is a FAR better play style than sun C. +1 Spatk
