I know I’m old (almost 70) but I’d like to know why no one (including all the Bishops on Bishop Hennings left) except for Bishop Reed bowed their head when the mention of Jesus came in the homily? I was taught during CCD classes that we always performed a gentle bow and Father Reed was the only one to do it. I still do it to this day. When did it stop??? Or become optional???
