I think Staff is fine, good dmg. Problem I see is that late game it falls off as DW will eventually make up for the dmg edge that Staff gives and then some meaning the atk spd from DW. I definitely see staff fanatics though! It’s also a lot easier to gear up one weapon.

@@Xslye I read somewhere that with the changes to 2h gems that staff is suppsoed to be better than DW. You can always slot a bit of ATK speed on your gear if you're missing it from DW.

@@per-emiljohansson100 Eh it's not even "just a bit of atk speed". It's quite a bit. The 2h gems from what I've seen are 4.8% but seems to even out considering your offhand in DW can slot a ton more gems too.

I find for PVE nothing really beats Daggerspell. You can kill anything without ever being touched by the enemy. And an ignited bubble trap fall damage is insane using very little mp. Also the combos are very fun and adaptable.

Great video. New player. Been playing archer but have a fanatic alt that I seem to enjoy a lot. I see this is a popular class but are there any viable stealth mage builds or any builds with stand out utility abilities that you can think of ?

Fanatics don’t stealth much because other tree passives are better. Unless you’re playing melee, stealth doesn’t make sense in this game later on. Only time I could see it is arena or 1v1s which in most cases it’s whoever ganks the other first. Utilities wise, a heavy CC class is useful, witchcraft spec, occultism(zealot). Night cloak is not a mage but it’s a tank cc/utility. Pretty insane. Mage is DPS.

You should also mention that if you have 3 stacks of wrathful casting, you can just kill everything holding manabolt.

Keybinds are a struggle to fit everything but I’d suggest using Q,E,R,T,Z,X and maybe your middle mouse button. My setup may come in a later video depending on how many actually need to know. Thank you for the support brother!

IMigliaro damage wise, very good. However when it comes to fighting dual wield fanatac, they will get their ccs off quicker than you can due to attack speed. Basically good damage, but not as good as dual wield when it comes to small scale/ 1vs 1s

In PVP, shadow play is extremely good considering overwhelm at Ancestral allows a disengage of 18meters + a stiff. Backdrop is great for fire bolt DPS. Stalkers mark is just increased damage and free runner gives you that good movement and atk spd boost

Eh I’ve heard good things about witchcraft but I prefer movement skills on mage, especially when wearing cloth.

Hi. I’m new so excuse the noob question. I keep seeing people dual wielding but that doesn’t make sense to me. The staff has the highest magic attack so why do people dual wield when the scepter is lower m attack and other weapon (usually) dagger has no magic attack. We don’t melee so the secondary weapon is basically useless? Thank you for the advice.

dual wielding allows faster GCDs...thus equaling more DPS. and with staff - how are you going to equip a shield and dps.

Scepter 2H doesn’t exist unless you meant 2H OR scepter. I run dagger scepter unless a melee jumps me then insta swap to shield for physical dmg reduction. Cloth is the only armor you want. There’s an argument for plate but I find you lose out on builds down the line since you stack magic reduction just to not get blown up by mages.

You’re thinking early game. I don’t lose to archers or melees unless they out gear me by 500+ GS and even then I can half combo them. Cloth is tanky late game. Cloth I suggest max HP, INT, and resilience. 3.5K toughness, you won’t be one combo’d trust me. Cloth with sustain cannot be one combo’d late game from melee or archers. Group fights you shouldn’t be focused else you’re playing wrong. 1v1s, burst them down fast. Small scale, same thing as 1v1. Fanatic is craZy good.

think its preference based depending on the way you want to play. RVR cloth is great dmg easy kill steals but then again plate keeps you alive against the majority of melee + archers. Really up to you

Fanatic is disgusting especially in 1v1. Actually it's mostly malediction that's crushing it right now. You can usually knock off a big chunk of HP and then use your 6 seconds of being untargetable to finish them off. You can usually kill people without them even being able to fight back.

Do you like party buffs? Then if so spellsinger :) spellsinger is definitely top 5 but in 6.0, Fanatic is #1 on the charts just in terms of pure dmg and movement once end-game. Spectre is also another good choice.

Hello, is there a way in Archage Unchained to farm Hiram gear ? cause i would like to try Plate on my Fanatic too, but chose to upgrade and awake the cloth set.

You will have a very hard time to get the correct stats on plate Hiram if you did not choose it at first. Reason being is that you will need to farm those plate Hiram drops which are very rare. Maybe one drop every second hour, all 3 stats are random meaning you may have to farm for hours to even get a plate armor piece with the 2/3 stats correct. Good luck.

Freeze requires cancel to be worth it, only time I use it is to deep freeze with chain lightning. Rather just not aggro them in general. These comboes I don’t even use due to meteor wave one shotting and bladefall one shotting.
