I definitely think that the rewards are not fair, and kind of bad for f2p people. You need to catch 16 legendary fish to get one etched rune. Also, the other rewards are kind of underwhelming, and locked behind a certain amount of kg. I am not the biggest fan, and definitely have seen better events in Archero 1. They should add more f2p friendly ways to get bait, besides that, I think the minigame is quite fun, but relatively easy, but hey, I am not playing it for the difficulty, I am just playing it for the rewards. I would give this a 4/10 personally

To be honest for f2p players it isn’t all that terrible, I’ve been playing f2p and got many opportunities to get enough lures so far I have caught 6 legendary fish already and only have used 20 lures that I got from missions, etc, not terrible at all

@jordanladely4860 that is luck then, because I am almost at 230kg and only caught 4. But even then, the rewards are not that rewarding. There is literally an option to get 1k gold, like, who cares about that? The only good thing you could get is a few etched runes if you manage to get to 230kg, and besides that, a random epic rune is also not bad. But the rest of the rewards are not really good.

@petrbouma94 obviously there are gonna be pros to this event, just like every event. This event however doesnt have free wishes for example, but the monopoly board game had them. This event in general lacks actual good items. And what do you mean exactly with "most f2p event ever". Sure people can get runes, but you could get other things from previous events. Obviously they wont give you the same stuff each event, it is always gonna be different. This event it is runes, previous event it was wishes, and next event, who knows, maybe a new characters? But this being f2p friendly? I dont think so. If youre talking about being able to buy lures however... F2p players cant magically summon 1500 gems out of their ass just to fish 10 times, which wont grant them anything. Lets be real right now, a reward in this event is 1k coins!! 1k!! You cant buy anything with 1k coins, it is literally useless. They just include it to make it look like there is more stuff. And also, shards for blue (the most common rarity) artifact, which is damn expensive, and you need 10x the amount to actually do anything with it is also an option as a reward?! So no, the rewards are really underwhelming (when you compare it mainly to the previous event) for f2p people.

I only bought epic rod package, I’m now at 1100+kg, just use the ticket to buy all the lure at shop first. Purposely break the string when the tension is not enough, legendary fish is harder to reel in you can feel that

@@GDragonGYF小风 total of 120, so maybe doing 5 reel max is the best way, 1 or 2 is too slow, 10 is too much even though it's probably easier to get legendary. Also doesn't have to be perfect, can still get it on very good, but harder.

When you reel at the start the tension not enough, just let the fish go more than 150m then will break

It’s totally not related to very good, or perfect, or regular throws. My very first throw was a legendary. And it was an awful throw because I didn’t know the mechanic. Almost broke the line reeling in too 😂 It’s all dumb luck rng that is heavily against the player.

Hi Greene, I have around 10k fishing tickets and 3 golden ones, what is the best way to spend my tokens? I'd love to get a rune but I don't think it'll be possible within the time limit, should I buy artifacts, more fishing lures to try and get enough golden tickets for premium exchange? The amount the fish fights is forsure telling of the quality of fish. You can cheese it a little by letting fish that give no fight take the lure past 150m and exchange the broken like for a new lure. If the fish is epic or better the game will give you a chance to pay gems to try reeling it in again. Abt 9/10 times I let the fish break the line it was just “rare”

@@galvadorsdfacts, I’m sure you could go years as f2p and not get mythic. The math is terrible. 80,000 gems to guarantee 4 S tier gear and the odd of getting 4 of the same are astronomically low. 480,000 gems for 24 S-tier… or about $1,700 in gems.. absolutely disgusting.
