Archers - How Many Shots for Each Unit | Stronghold Crusader

How many shots do Archers need for each unit in the game?
Important Addition:
All Archers in the game have the exact same damage per arrow, so the number of shots between them is identical.
Furthermore, I excluded Tower Ballistas and Mangonels, because there is no definitive answer to, how many shots it will take for them. First, there is the problem with the hit rate, which is about 15 - 20%. Second, there are way too many differences in hit rate and damage based on the elevation difference.
The only exception will be in my upcoming video about Fire Ballistas (there are planned 5 in total: Archers, Crossbowmen, Slingers, Fire Ballistas and Tower Ballistas). Thats mainly, because Fire Ballistas have normally a 100% accuracy rating, which makes an exact number of shots possible.
If you want to know, how many Archer shots Tower Ballistas and Mangonels can take, if we assume, every shot is a succesful hit and the archers have no elevation bonus, the answer is:
Tower Ballistas: 31 Shots
Mangonels: 50 Shots
Originally, these data was part of the videos too, but it looked way out of place (because of all the missing arrows and the unclarity, whether the number of shots or the number of clean hits should count).

I remember once, i had like 160 archers horses, and i didn't have any mele unit, so i called for help of my allies, when the support of the allies was in the castle, the lord died of how many shots of arrows he received. And that feeled like he died in less than 50 shots, 1500 shots for killing one lord?, good grief

@Beauregard lustigerweise hatte ich mal in einer Einzelspielerpartie knapp 2000 berittene Bogenschützen rekrutiert und zu einer vorher handlungsfähig gebombten und finanziell ausgehungerten Schlange geschickt, die nur noch den Lord und eine Handvoll Truppen am Bergfried hatte... durch den Bergfried haben zwar die meisten Schüsse verfehlt, aber trotzdem war der Lord tot, bevor die berittenen Bogis überhaupt alle versammelt waren xD

Also ich finde man hätte damals im 3. Kreuzzug einfach die Lords und Könige als Schild einsetzen sollen... So würde man Jerusalem deutlich effektiver Belagern.

You need +15% bonus damage to 2-shot slingers (instead of 3-shoting). Even with max +25% bonus damage archers still 3-shot spearmen. With max +25% bonus damage you can 3-shot monks (instead of 4-shoting). With -10% damage you 5-shot monks With +25% bonus damage you can 4-shot archers (instead of 5-shoting) (and with -25% damage you 7-shot archers) With +25% bonus damage you can 5-shot arabian archers (instead of 6-shoting) (and with -25% damage you 8-shot arabian archers) With +15% bonus damage you can 7-shot horse archers (instead of 8-shoting) (with -25% damage you 11-shot arabian archers) With +15% bonus damage you can 9-shot crossbowmen (instead of 10-shoting) (and with -25% damage you 14-shot crossbowmen)

Die Reichweite ist die gleiche. Dass die arabischen schneller schießen, stimmt aber. Außerdem halten sie auch ein wenig mehr aus und haben einen höheren Nachkampfschaden. Im Gegenzug kosten sie aber auch mehr als die Europäischen.

No , there damage is same . But if you use Bad Factors , so they will decrese damage of all characters but increases your economic output . Caliph archer need 2 arrows for Slave and Saladin archer do the same with 1 arrow .

This is Stupid because no one enemy have only one archer....When u come to his castle every enemy have over 20 archers..... For me The Best Army is Maceman ,with about 80 Maceman and with 25 archers on horses u can Smash any enemy in early period of game....

This isn't about a simulation, what happens, when you fight 1 single archer. It is supposed to show, how many each unit in the game can endure statwise. Even if it's not realistic, to fight one single archer, it could be nice to know, that for example 50 Archers need over 3 Volleys to kill a single swordsman and so on.
