I love the fact that you place the arrow pn the right side of the bow even though you are using a right hand stance. I would do this also. I don't like the arrow to the left. Lars Anderson also recommends this way of shooting and he can get the artows off super quick and on target at the same time.

A few days ago I asked if my Mum and my sister would like to have a go:) Both of them have zero knowledge about archery. I gave them my bow and one arrow , showed how its done and asked which side of the bow the arrow feels more natural and both of them chose the right side of the bow:) I wasnt expecting that tbh :) Thanks for taking time to comment! Happy Shooting!
@johnjoyce19583 ай бұрын
@@RS_ yea if you're right handed the right side feels good. It is probably the opposite for left handed people. I actually went to buy a bow out of a shop and throne they tried to sell me as a right handed person had the arrow side on the left. I asked them if they had a left handed bow and they said they could order it for me. The next week they had the left handed bow in the window. They probably tried to pawn it off as a right handed bow. What a joke. I'm going to make my own one! Thanks for the reply.!

for point 2, I guess it's related more to the bow design.Longer bows are more forgiving. If the bow works from the beginning is actually a good thing. A small bow can handle less gpp than a longer one. You can try a Sav or a Nawalny or a Paragon bow, they have no hand shock at all.
@RS_4 ай бұрын
This one doesnt have any hand shock at all! Zero! And almost no fibrations.. I mean if I concentrate on picking them I can feel tiny tiny bit, but i need to focus to feel that. Normaly shooting I cant feel nothing at all and Im shooting quite liteweight arrows ~ 8-9gpp. As I have mentioned in the video, my Turkish bow by Vegh has very very small amount of vibrations , so I thought It can not get any better especially when I compared it to my previous bow X laminated Persian By Grozer. But when I tried the Raptor I was blown away
@yerde4 ай бұрын
@@RS_ the Raptor looks good but it's expensive. I own the Sav long Dacian, the Nawalny Saracen and the Paragon Raider and they are less expensive. These are good alternatives. I do own a Vegh Turkish and it has some hand shock+ vibrations, however it's a new bow and it might get better after some usage I suppose.

Sure. The bow is " Raptor" By Simon's Bow Company . In short- this is the best bow I have ever tried. I havent tried loads of bows , only 6 so far, but some of the bows I've tried are regarded as a great bows ( like the one at the beginnig of the video - Turkish by Vegh) . And the Raptor is better in many ways. (at lest to me) Not by much, but enough to make it my favoutite. Hope it helps

I have faster cheaper bow (black hunter) and is super noisy. Also missing a shelf. Looks fun tho, like the shrew bow. 6/10
@RS_2 ай бұрын
I know the black hunter bow. Nearly bought it. If its too noisy, put some string silincers on it,it really helps. I had to put silencer on my Grozer bow, coz I did not like the sound and the vibrations it made

Raptor has low value to price ratio for me. i would allways take Vegh Bows first. You just get a fancy and nice made ow for much more money than other. it is not faster or quiter for this Price in compare to cheaper bows. And talking about handshock or vibration from Bows under 75lbs is quiet a fancy....

Everyone is different! Ive seen people, who liked bows, that had a terrible hand shock...

There is no best bow. Each bow is a balance point between stability, energy storage and efficiency. If you improve in one area, you take away from another. There is no perfect that all areas is at peak.

No best bow, there are plenty of awful bows. A laminated bow should not be worth almost a thousand dollars. Check out any Korean bow company they will make the same bow for one third the price.
