@@SamkoTradBow i do have a question about broadheads . my barnett is supposed to do 405 with a 380 grain arrow/point . im expecting about 380 with a 425 grain arrow/point . im leaning towards the grin reaper whitetail extreme (and using a dental band) but also considering the sever titanium 2.0 . what are your thoughts on these broadheads for crossbow use ? thanks , jeff

Just checked on Amazon for the Bitzenburger Fletching Jig. It was $73.10 but it does NOT come with the clamp that holds the feather. That is another $28.00-$30.00. That puts the total at around $102.00. Three rivers is $100.00 with your choice of left, right, or straight feather clamp included. Not promoting either supplier just want people to make sure what they are buying.

but on 3 rivers you have to pay shipping whereas amazon is free shipping. and trust me I love 3 rivers but thier shipping is not cheap. Nobody shipping is cheap. I just bought a shooting tab from a leather maker for 18 bucks and shipping was 11. How stupid. Love amazon and thier free shipping!

@@SamkoTradBow Very true. Just didn't want somebody who wasn't familiar with the bitzenburger jigs to think that they were getting a complete setup for $30.00 cheaper and be disapointed. Just found your channel. It is great and I will be putting an order in for a Northern Mist bow as soon as I can decide on which model. Thanks.

@@shellmaker10 That makes perfect sense and is greatly appreciated. I sometimes forget the little stuff that many may not know such as you need the jig and the clamp. Thank you! You will love Steves bows! I just put in an order for another classic a month ago. Cant wait to get it. Best bows I have ever shot and the fit, finish and attention to detail is top shelf all the way. I know him and consider him a close friend (but I do pay for all my bows, never asked him for anything free or even a discount and when he has tried to give me a bow for free I refuse and pay him above full price) and I have watched him in his shop be down to the last 20 minutes of making a bow and see the smallest minor blemish and he will instantly throw the bow across the shop over to the burn pile. He then turned to me and said " that crap wont ever leave my shop or have my name on it. Then he started over.

Excellent video! Jason, do you nock under or over your nock point? I too have been using the brass nocking points for over 60 years. Thanks

Never mind the question, Jason. Just watched your nock point video and see you nock under like me and for the same reasons.

Glad you enjoyed it. Yep always arrow under the nock for me.

Amazon is killing archery shops
@SamkoTradBow5 жыл бұрын
online retail is 70% of all purchases now. its killing everything brick and mortar. But i think the crossbow has done more damage to archery shops than anything. So have big box outdoors stores with morons behind the counter that dont have a clue about bows or bow hunting. I think the loss of archery shops is a horrible thing as they are the one place that people can get quality information and instruction. but it is the way of the new world and change in gonna happen. I think archery shops should sell products online as well to help pay the bills to keep them open for the people that want the quality instruction.
