The pain will go away about the 5th or 6th week. I picked up my 60# Diamond Infinite Edge bow after week 6 and shot 12 arrows through it.

Take it nice and easy. It took my friend almost a year to get back to normal, but you will get there in the end just as he did. He is now doing everything just as he could before the operation. Most importantly, he looks after his health a whole lot better than he did previously. Just keep moving forward. Best wishes from Germany.

A few friends had bypasses here in the states in recent years. They speak about their recovery in months, not in weeks! One friend who was 55 said it was 8 months before he felt somewhat comfortable and “normal” Give yourself TIME Steven!!
@timbow50 Жыл бұрын
Months? Really? How many 8? Too long unless he was in bad shape before. Office workers are usually longer because they usually don’t do much and are soft and in bad shape. Guess I was lucky lol being what they call tradesmen down there. I was physically strong and not fat at all. Was fishing and rowing my little boat 12 days. Doctor told me that the wires clips whatever wouldn’t pull out so I went fishing. Hell yes I was sore but I was sore anyway from just sitting around the house and walking.

Good news - very glad you are healing. Having gone through 3 back surgeries I can tell you that healing takes time especially at elevated ages (I am 77). Keep up the good work - and you should be just fine. Grace and peace to you, looking forward to more reviews.

Your looking better Steven, your doing 3.2 walking after 3 weeks, that's great. Just don't join the girls in their aerobics for a few weeks mate. I'd say that your previous fitness levels have got you ahead of the game and you just need time, the frustration will go away as you start to fully recover. Wishing you and your family all the best, take care and take a holiday when you are feeling stronger.

Overall sounds like great news, praise the Lord 😃👍. I just started on thyroid medication yesterday (because it's literally comatose) and I shouldn't have but I forced an much needed workout after nearly 12 days of not being able to. My heart was hurting also. The thyroid apparently affects so many systems. I'll keep praying for your gradual recovery. Maybe we both can get back to shooting regular soon....🏹🤠👍
