I'm loving this. Instead of reviewing an archetype that has zero usefulness as a PSA of what not to play, this series seems to be more focused on the good parts of an archetype that has some flaws but isn't something unplayable. While it was fun having you talk crap about shit cards in LOTW, seeing you talk about the good side of decks that aren't too commonly played as well as ripping on some of their comedically bad cards is a fun balance and a nice way to learn about new decks that not everyone may have tried or even heard of in some cases.

When I was young, my cousin George had a small set of random Yugioh cards that he once brought over to my house. Among the set were Swift Scarecrow, volcanic Queen, unifrog, and interplanetary invader a. Neither of us even knew the rules of the game at the time (we were both, like, in elementary school) besides “big monster is better” and “maybe look at that effect thing once in a while”. My cousin had normal summoned Volcanic queen, and not paying attention to anything rammed right into invader A. His reaction was kinda priceless.

Alien's damage reduction applies for each monster that has the effect. So 3 alien monsters on the field with the effect means 900 attack and defense reduction per counter. If only the cards that had good effects also had the reduction effect.

I love this series, please keep it up. Aliens are one of my favorite archetypes because of their aesthetic and I actually enjoy the micro-management aspect of the "A-Counter" engine. The funny thing about Alien Infiltrator is that a guy from our locals topped a regional, getting his invite, using three Alien Infiltrator in his side deck for the sole purpose of rule sharking. Kind of a shitty ordeal, but it helped him with players that continuously moved their shit around, and even got him an auto win against an Infernity player setting monsters in his back row.

@phoenixvance6642 It's not really an issue as much now, but people used to constantly move their backrow around to "realign" their cards so they'd be more clean on their board. However, due to Alien Infiltrator's effect requiring to be aligned in a specific column to activate its effect(s), with people constantly shifting their backrow, he'd then call for a judge. When the judge would come over, he'd ask the issue, and our player from our LCS would tell the judge his opponent was shifting their backrow so the proper columns weren't able to allow Alien Infiltrator to properly utilize its effect(s). The judge would then give a game loss to the other player. Pretty cheeky and cheap, but it worked.

Running Solidarity with Aliens makes it pretty good, as you’re going to be using an all-Reptile deck, it means you’re giving all your summoned cards 800 Attack for free, which makes Alien Dog a beast and Alien Shocktrooper a card that can take out any 6 star or lower non-boosted monsters.

I think that Alien Grey may have inspired the entire Worm archetype, which caused the effects of Ally of Justice monsters to suck, so we can blame two archetypes for being useless on Aliens!

My 2tko setup was: Setting a monster(ideally warrior), a-cell recombination device, and brainwashing beam turn 1, which could steal you a win by the next turn if all they made was an 1800+ beater and attacked

I think the next Archetype you should review is Karakuri. A unique look of robot wooden puppets who's gimmick is changing battle positions on the fly and changing opponite monsters too. Two powerfull boss monsters to help swarm the field and a nasty two card combo for a first turn Naturia Beast that breaks everyone into crazy rages.

I really liked this. Aliens have been a favorite archetype of mine, and I always wanted to try and build a deck around them, but could never find the time nor the money to do so. Though I did make an Alien deck on Dueling Network several years back and did fairly well with it, watching this video has inspired me to try working on getting that deck finally built. So thank you. Also, as a (possible) suggestion for this new series, how about you cover Charmers/Familiar-Possessed as an archetype? They've gotten a lot of support these past few years, and I'm curious how they'd stack up.
