On the subject of otks I just wanted to say that your "you still take damage" memes inspired me to play nothing but Deep-Eyes White Dragon Otk for over a year. It's fun because once you get 13+ dragons into the GY you can just wait on the field with a Blue-Eyes and when your opponent destroys it you get to say: "You may have destroyed my dragon, but you still take damage" and then you win the duel. Thank you Rata.

IMO, Arc-V has the most interesting anime archetypes in the series. Sadly, as the anime progresses, most of them got treated badly and become less interesting (as well as the plot) Lunalight definitely needs more fusion monsters. The new Link rules make it less likely though.

IMO a lot of people play the deck wrong. They play it as Leo turbo, but the deck is really frail if you do that. The card you want to go for most of the time is Panther, for several reasons: #1: Panther is a force multiplier, doing more damage with more monsters. Leo just does 7k - the attack of one opponent. #2: Panther can clear a field just as easily as Leo. Sometimes even better, since it can eat up every floating effect in a single turn. #3: Leo is a surprisingly large investment, even with all their recovery options. Panther is much cheaper. #4: Leo is surprisingly frail. That targeting + destruction protection doesn't mean much when every deck is running borreload and borrelsword. She's basically just a weaker Chaos Max. #5: If Leo fails, there's no backup play. If Panther fails, the backup play is Leo. #6: Panther isn't a nomi. You can continually bring it back with Rabbit, Perfume, and Tiger. In general, you'll only want to go for Leo in one of three situations: You're going to win right there with her, there's nothing else that will out that board, or as the recovery play after Panther.

You gotta otk with the deck... So it depends on the situation. The Leo turbo is the best build because if u can get Leo out consistently then you can get all the lunalights

by the time you got any fusion monster out, you probably already played around every interruption so going into Leo+Underclock is by far the most consistent and versitile otk.

Trying them out in early 2022 Master Duel, I agree with this so far! If you immediately bring out Leo using Kaleido Chick and she gets hit by non-targeting removal or a bigger beatstick or something, that’s basically all of your resources gone and two big cards you can’t special summon out of the graveyard (Panther and Leo). If you go with Panther instead, it costs less, you still have a great offensive card, and you can easily special summon both Panther and Cat out of the graveyard later (and you can still go get Leo).

Lunalight is my favourite archetype of all time. It's so fun and so satisfying to play modern beatdown, especially Cat and Dancer and Panther Dancer's effects which look like they're performing a combo on the opponents. There's also so many possibilities for searching and recovery that if you use your brain, you can get out of almost any pinch.

While I'd say that Leo dancer is a good monster, it's a bit overkill to summon it turn 1 especially when it's massive Kaiju bait. 1 Leo dancer for late game is more effective and using panther dancer as a frequent otk material is a lot more effective
