Archetype Gojira X DIGABUNG sama IRDX Bogren Digital! LOVELY!

Halo gaes! Baru sempat upload video lagi setelah sekian lama. Kali ini mau share video review aja, no talking. Archetype Gojira X dari Neural DSP dipasangkan dengan IRDX dari Bogren Digital.
Archetype Gojira X rilis sebagai free upgrade bagi customer yang sudah membeli Gojira. Hadir dengan teknologi ter-update dari Neural, sudah tersedia metronome, doubler, serta fitur transpose seperti Archetype Petrucci. Buat kamu yang pake Quadcortex, pluginnya juga sudah compatible. Nah kalau IRDX nya Bogren digadang mampu memberikan "nyawa" ke ampli simulator kita yang selama ini menggunakan "snapshot" Impulse Response. Sound-nya jadi lebih 3D!
Dalam beberapa waktu ke depan saya bakalan fokus nyelesein video course basic mixing mastering. Selain itu saya juga akan melakukan rebranding untuk studio saya. Semoga segala sesuatunya lancar dan bisa segera selesai! Mohon doanya ya teman-teman. Salam audio!

Thanks buddy! I did the classic multiband compression to catch those palm-mutes, just a hair. Then a touch of compression & saturation on the guitar bus to make them sit better in the mix

Thanks mate! I'd say the difference is subtle in the full mix. It kind of does expansion and compression at the same time. It also adds saturation. I like what it's doing on the palm mutes

what are you using for the ambience and synths, sounds full of things

For vocals, a blend of different kind of delays, room reverb, and vocal synth to give different textures and width. A lot of other things are printed wet with reverb & delay

@@mohitrahaman Most of the time, I design the ambience using stock fx from the synths plugin (Omnisphere & Serum). If I need further adjustment, I got plenty of plugins ready in my template. My go to is always S1 stock reverb. The other options are JST Sky Box, Fabfilter Pro-R, Soundtoys Super Plate and Echo Boy, Valhalla Room and Plate, also UAD Lexicon. Appreciate the question! 😀

@@AsadHaidar Thanks, that's good insight. I am familiar with all the mentioned fx, JST, Valhalla, Lexicon 224, soundtoys, used many such synths but did not get around to experimenting with them. I recently got hooked on with Vital synth though, as some other metal producers been using them to make Doom Eternal-esque pad sounds. Still I rarely use synths in my productions and this whole subject is mystery to me. I hope doing mixes one day that hopefully sounds a fraction of how great yours are done. Will update. Thanks.
