Archetype: Nolly - Playthrough Cut

When we shot the promo video for the release of the Neural DSP Archetype: Nolly plugin, we also did a cut which was purely performance. It didn't get used during the release but I always liked how it came out so it's a shame for it not to be out there! Here it is for anyone interested to check out.

It would be simply awesome if you made an Archetype 1 or 2x12 combo akin to the Bias combo that came out recently. The main thing I don't like about Bias' offering is those tiny full-range speakers that come in it. I don't need an amp for playing aux-music through, so I'd prefer real guitar drivers, personally, and I've always loved 1x12/2x12 combos. It's like Kerry King says; "If I'm standing in front of my amp while I'm playing, I want to feel my nuts shake." lol

Technically impressive. But no soul. It's like someone has mastered a language and speaks as fast as they can. BB King for example is the antithesis of this. Danny Carey (although a drummer is both) as is Justin Chancellor. Jerry Cantrell. Not many notes. Great guitarist. Feels. Dimebag. Shreds for days and has a groove. This (to me) is notes for the sake of notes.

Greetings from Brazil. I watched your collab video with @kohlekeller about Vintage 30 speakers. I found in a store here in my city a Mesa 4x12 Oversized box with v30 speakers with a 20 BO label (February 20, 2004). Are these speakers from the same golden age you talk about in the video (2000 to 2003)? Will these two months make a difference? I already have a Mesa Traditional Cab with v30s from 2005 (labeled 29 FQ). Is it worth to get rid of mine and buy this Oversized with 2004 speakers or should I wait until I find one with 2000-2003 speakers on it? Cheers

Great song. Would love to see more powerful stuff like this. That melodic part of it is what I love mixed with the heaviness and uniqueness. You really did get a fantastic sound. I’m foreign to you but that collab you’ve done caught my eye. If you didn’t use that track I probably wouldn’t have cared but that’s dope. That’s well within the range kind of guitar sound I wanted for a long time. And I’d love to hear more. My understanding as of now is you were in a metal type band or however you’d call it and now you’ve left... I’d assume your own stuff is a little different... I don’t know, I tend to be less into the straight up metal stuff. I can see there’s a lot of layers and different vibes in here. Could just be out of the loop in hearing new artists and stuff also, for sure. But I think this stuff is powerful. If my own body didnt get in the way I’d have made stuff like this a long time ago. Shjt life I’ve had being forced in bed from age 16 and I made it to 35 somehow to see the world falling apart ... well mostly America ... this is the beginning... too many crazy people who cannot see what’s happening and don’t know history whatsoever. We have hit a point where no matter how logical you are the other people will think they are right no matter what and it’s the same on both sides except one is clearly very wrong and the other is right. But too many of each... or at least it seems that way... im speaking up when I can but it seems rare these days.
