There is no failure only feedback!!!! When this is all over you can look back it and laugh and know how strong you are Throw away the bad experience and keep the lesson It's not falling down but failing to rise all inspirational quotes But Homer Simpson says it best "You tried your best and failed miserably. The lesson is, never try"

Thanks for this, Andy! This explains a lot of my experiences over the years where I eventually realised I was the one creating the problem - even though it hadn't looked like that until afterwards. I'd be interested to understand more about working up the tree vs. what comes down. And about the significance of the Tower/Art intersection with that.

I had a shocking(tower?) experience, when I was a small child, which established a stage with a giant axe (god's judgement) coming down above me. Using this video to think that through, allowed me to open a "White hole" (opposite of a black hole), inside my head that pushed all these rehersal stages out of my head. I was thinking it was a severe punishment( geburah?), so I thought about the severity to mercy path, and the understanding to wisdom path (superficially), and the axe in my metaphor turned gold, and I'm using it to cut the darkness in two, the dark curtain in two.

So if I understand your explaination, the Tower archetype/path is a particular type of External trauma that can unmask the false self and if processed proactively can encourage a balancing of intellect and creativity to power up and prepare for the alignment needed to enter the heart chakra of tifereth. Would that be an accurate summary?

How do you know, how to get to your genuine true self, if you don't know how to do it, or know what you want. What is true for 'my' self, if I don't know.... ? There are many interesting points in this video and I am trying to work on this sh1t myself. Yet, I just don't know. however I can explain a lot of stuff where i've failed at and not understood, but I have accepted and learned and understood this. I already have a comedy expression I use and it will probably go on my grave stone:- "What the fook was all that about! - I have no idea!" I can really go deeper here andy, and go off in many directions, but it is difficult for to write this out correctly and i may get very angry and misunderstood.

This is partly what the initiatory traditions seek to develop - the discovery of who we really are. The masonic (and related) traditions use "shocks" - the use of ritual and ceremony to jolt a persons awareness to an aspect of themselves of which they were previously unfamiliar.
