Comparing two Rye Whiskies from Archie Rose - the 2018 Single Paddock Whisky Harvest, and the 2019 Dry Grown Rye Malt.
Both of these Rye Whiskies were made using rye grains grown during the NSW drought without any irrigation. These drought resistant grains produced interesting flavour profiles. As the first release was cask strength, and the other only 48%, I wanted to see how the two compared as they are, and with the cask strength version watered down to similar ABV.
