As a former student of Mr. York's from almost two decades ago, I find his voice to be immensely calming.

A physics teacher told me, about 10 years ago, that Archimedes calculus methodology had been discovered.

GDEF is a square, and it must be a square. Triangle OMA is 45 degree. OM equals OA.

The genius of ancient Greek mathematicians always makes me stunned. without them, the world was undoubtedly a primitive place.

Check out the Egyptians then, they were a much more advanced civilisation. Greeks were mediocre in comparison.

Why do u need 3 other shapes to find the volume of a sphere? This isn't math, its physics now.

Archimedes is one of the greatest mathematicians. Calculus is hiding a lot of the intuition behind the math.
