To clarify the Ebdon situation. Both players were involved in a lengthy end of match safety exchange. Ebdon eventually laid a snooker that was albeit easy to get out of. Was nearly impossible to get it safe. Cope then did the only thing he could reasonably do which was a hit and hope, and fluked an even more devilish snooker on him.
