This corner house is strategically positioned at the convergence of two roads, showcasing an intriguing entrance facade. Its flat roof extends seamlessly along the entire structure, wrapping around the interior space in a harmonious embrace. The merging walls create a continuous facade when viewed from the side, challenging traditional perceptions of boundaries.
The uniformity of exposed concrete is complemented by extensive areas of wood and glass cladding, offering a smooth transition between interior and exterior spaces. The design optimises natural airflow and light throughout both private and public areas, with wooden shutters regulating sunlight to create dramatic shadows within the residence.
A notable feature is the expansive overhang beyond the sliding glass wall, extending the public space into the patio for shaded relaxation. The rectangular layout fosters an open and interconnected familial environment, promoting interaction among residents without rigid divisions.
Steel stairs anchored between concrete walls add a sense of lightness to the upper floor, with mesh railings enhancing transparency and openness. Bedrooms on the basement level enjoy views of the lowered patio, receiving ample natural light throughout the day.
Positioned on one side of the plot, the residence is surrounded by a vast garden visible from every room, ensuring a constant visual connection with the outdoors. Panoramic views from communal areas seamlessly integrate with the natural greenery, enhancing the overall harmony of the living spaces.
