This episode will focus on reviewing mock exam questions for the Construction Documents exam. Prior to the review, we sent out an exam to all those that signed up, gave some time to take the mini-exam, and then went through each question one by one during the online / live session, reviewing the answers, strategies, and resources for how to answer them.
In this section, Mike Newman discusses a question from the Construction Documents Mock Exam that asks which one of the following is not one of the architect’s duties during construction under the A201 General Condition, and then gives four possible answers: reviewing samples and other submittals from the contractor, responding to contractor questions regarding the design, adjudicating disputes between the owner and contractor, or making site visits to ensure that the construction is proceeding in accordance with the contract documents. Mike will go over each answer, reveal the correct one and why it is the correct answer.

Hello, I wanted to point out that section 4.2.2 in A201 does use the phrase "in accordance with the Contract Documents." I admit that I got this question wrong and thought it was C because I jumped to thinking disputes needed to be settled through arbitration or litigation. Disqualifying D by using the word ensure is extremely tricky. Had it been guarantee, I think I would have thought about it longer.
