All our gods have abandoned us made me realise I am depressed and lost. Drowning in rage anger and hate. I listened to it a thousand times to learn from it. Holy Hell now on the other hand took all the pain and transformed it. I now want to stand tall and live life no matter the cost. No matter how much pain there is in existing. You healed my soul. Thank you Architects. It's a debt I can't repay.

LYRICS All is not lost, all is not lost, all is not lost, all is not lost All is not lost, all is not lost, all is not lost, all is not lost Waiting for a sign washed up on the shoreline I'll always carry the cross, but all is not lost I just can't relate a crack in the floodgate Life comes at a cost, but all is not lost Is this penance for my sins? I gave everything for this phantom limb Holy Ghost, nothing lasts forever Now it's time to sink or swim I've got nothing except this wasted hymn Holy Ghost, nothing lasts forever Taking back what's mine, but it's lost to the skyline A bridge I cannot cross, but all is not lost (all is not lost) Now there's no escape (all is not lost) God, what a sorry state (all is not lost) Love comes at a cost, but all is not lost Is this penance for my sins? I gave everything for this phantom limb Holy Ghost, nothing lasts forever Now it's time to sink or swim I've got nothing except this wasted hymn Holy Ghost, nothing lasts forever Can you feel the empty space? Can you feel the fire at the gates? Can you live a life worth dying for? Can you feel the empty space? Can you feel the fire at the gates? Can you live a life worth dying for? Can you feel the empty space? Can you feel the fire at the gates? Can you live a life worth dying for? Is this penance for my sins? I gave everything for this phantom limb Holy Ghost, nothing lasts forever Now it's time to sink or swim I've got nothing except this wasted hymn Holy Ghost, nothing lasts forever

Listen to their song "Unbeliever" from the Daybreaker album, if you haven't already. Amazing cymbals and synth.

I've already read a lot comments about depression in the comments so I wondered: Do you think (emotional) Metal like this make you depressedor does it help fight depression?

this song brings tears to my eyes but it also puts my heart at ease??

Let's not look over the fact that the lead riff in the chorus of Hereafter is all the way through this, let alone a few other aspects of other tracks on the album. Perfectly blended summary of the whole album to close it.

Even "unbeliever" isn't as smooth as this one.. Still it's got the heaviness of Architects character though.

the things i'd do for a re-recording of Unbeliever.

@@user-xd9ks4ik9s Nah, although it may sound very pristine and mixed well these days, the original recording and feeling was given first hand by Tom who produced and recorded that track with John Mitchell. Henrik, the engineer for the next two albums actually got the gig for Architects because he drunkenly told Tom how shite daybreaker guitar tone was, and Tom wanted to learn from studio fredman how to "do it right", and it brought tears to his eyes when he heard Naysayer played back(aoghau documentary). @@mdhssounds see? so according to this, they would have wanted Daybreaker to sound as awesomely mixed and produced as the 3 newest albums. It's just that - and i very much understand that - time and budget for re-recordings isnt easy to find. and also: most people aren't as audiophile as me, so they are totally fine with the sound already. but my main reason for wanting a re-recording isnt even the sound, its Sam's Voice. He has improved crazily since then and hearing my favourite architects song sung with his current skills, thats why i crave it. :)

Most of the words people say don't reach us cause' they don't say what their true life tell them. Architects is not. They are burning and bleeding, and they show us their lives as they are. This makes me bind to what they tell me.
