these high scream is truly consumes so much energy, Sam is a beast

low screams takes more energy high scream is just about compression, whats more you can sing with one breath as long as you need next breath not cause of air but cause of oxygen

@@tonieja1685 except Sam doesn't only use fry screaming like lot of screamers. He yells and adds fry to that which takes a lot more air

@@tonieja1685 this isn't a high scream, it's a high pitched scream, he's singing up to D5/Eb5 While adding distortion, wich is as hard as shitting that one that never comes out.

Fry screaming is actually easier than singing in a higher register, just a lot of open throat with slight distortion, just takes a little knowledge of how much air to push for what note, but sams tonality is absolutely insane
@L2_Impart2 жыл бұрын
@@drewbydoo92 No, Sam IS singing while ADDING DISTORTION, That's as though or even harder as just singing the normal high note.

Bruh what r u talking about? He reaches pretty high, but it IS tiring. Sam is one of the best live performers. I dont think youd be making this comment if u had experience with these kind of vocals.

@@patricioaroncastrillonross8372 yeah, he reaches *pretty high* but not as high as he does on the album. I don't need experience with these vocals, I just need ears. He's clearly struggling to get even close.
@RespiteofChampions3 жыл бұрын
@@ByronicGuitarist "Not as high as he does on the album"? You DO realize what you hear on the album is not ACTUALLY what he's doing right? Those vocals are HEAVILY processed to fit into the mix of the album. The vocals you hear here are exactly what he's doing in the studio. Those vocals are just mixed and processed to sound higher than they are for the mix to sound right. This IS what he's doing on the album. This is as high as he goes on the album. You just don't understand how vocals work.
@ByronicGuitarist3 жыл бұрын
@@RespiteofChampions nah you just have reading comprehension issues. His vocals are not as high as they are on the album. Period. Whether they were mixed out of his natural range or not. I'm a guitarist of 13 years. It would be very silly of me to mix my playing to make it sound like I'm playing way faster than I actually can and then try and play it live because I won't be able to and it will sound like garbage. That is what happened here.
