I love how I always find an Architects song that I havent listened yet and get amazed by the guitars. Tom was truly a fucking genius, a master, he was born to play the guitar, I cant believe how complex and well made is the guitar work in every Architects song, all his music is his legacy and I love that even 2 years after his death Im still discovering his music. He es a fucking legend.

@@csis8460 yeah, I remember finding them out after a Match Made in Heaven a year ago or so, and I listened to AOGHU and Holy Hell on repeat constantly. I finally decided to go few their older stuff like Lost Forever and Daybreaker and I was so shocked out how fucking amazing it was. I honestly like their old stuff a bit more, but their newer music is also great for different reasons. This band is perfection.

+John Alexander Practice practice practice! And finding good amp settings would be very helpful
@Skepsis0Metal8 жыл бұрын
+John Alexander Wrap a hair scrunchie or an old sock around the headstock; very close to the nut. It'll dampen any excess vibrations that your hands can't mute. Then you probably need a very finely tuned amp (very little gain, don't remove the mids) and a noise gate with a threshold just above the level of string noise.
@mhm32818 жыл бұрын
Just use your tapping hand to block the excess string and practice the fuck out of it. Doing anything else just seems lazy.
