I think he was saying it's not necessarily a good thing just cause probably need new snare heads more often. Keep hitting it in the same spot forever and you'll lose the tone you want. That being said, super impressive.

I was never a fan of any of the mix/mastering on Architects albums before All Our Gods and I realized it’s the drums. This makes the song feel much bigger and punchy. Such an amazing cover.
