amazing tour, but the house just seems soo cold man. its fine if you use alot of concrete, that can actually look good. But in my opinion you just have to balance it out with wood and cozy furniture. not with 1 sofa for the room and even more cold colors like an all white kitchen lol

I watch every episode and I rarely dislike a property but unfortunately this is one of them. I like minimalism but this is overkill. I'd get depressed if I had a week in this place. Not for me but I appreciate it might be nice to some.

I feel you on that one. Perhaps if they painted the inside white to brighten it up a little bit instead of keeping it that beige stone colour?

Architect’s indulgent design led to creating this clinical and pretentious house. Walking through those corridors would drive me mad, it would be a great filming location for a movie like Joker, serving as an asylum. I do love the cottage though.

This house becomes the number 2 best on the channel. The presenter's reaction is the best. Well done, LH! I hope to get a scholarship and get to explore those areas and potentially build my own home, paint walls with white and add beams all around the house put some stones somewhere, find couches and stay minimal, and praise Allah. Let me work hard.

@leegarside805511 ай бұрын
Bleak and cold inside and out with a less than harmonious connection between the cottage and the added structure. The cottage now looks belittled by the imposing extension. I’m guessing planners will say it’s about capturing the views from inside, living with nature etc, however this doesn’t work when it appears to give a depressive feeling to many….. (sorry, just not 4 me)

All that space and the home office, tv room, and library are all "squashed" in together. A featureless sundeck, which is how many steps away from where you would prepare the food, and drinks. At least kids with scooters, rollerboots and bicycles would have fun. No wonder they're renting this place out for holiday makers who don't want to stay long. (That and dark tv series featuring disfunctional families.)

Beautiful setting but the wrong kind of setting for a house like that. I would much prefer an older traditional cottage type of home there. The last few videos too have shown me that the UK has not learned about powerwashers yet. LOL

Sorry, 6500 per week to be in that car showroom. Someone should be out of their mind to spend that amount of money in a human aquarium. The kitchen cabinetry is mediocre, and very noisy to operate. To get an award from RIBA, all you need is just build a shed with some glazing. Moreover, I don't see any mind-blowing architecture in this project. Hideous and ghastly.
