how to get info about the structure, materials used in the case study?

Thanks for the question! I’m curious what others have to say, but a lot of that information comes from experience in recognizing construction methods and materials as well as researching the particular case study further to see what can be found. Some ways of researching could involve contacting the firm that designed the structure to see what type of information they can share to further your education and understanding of their work.

I’d perform a site analysis with diagrams, and would base it off of certain criteria that you think should drive your initial concept design. I purchased this book a while back for how to diagram a site analysis in different ways- it’s very good: amzn.to/3KMzMx5 I hope that helps!
