I never thought that so many information could come from just site analysis! I am so glad that I now know how to fully utilize the information I gathered from a site analysis. Sadly, our instructors never taught us the importance of site analysis or how to use it properly. They only told us to do it and get it out of our way. But after watching your videos, I think I can improve a lot of my future designs, and I can’t wait to take what I learned from you and implement it into my work! Thank you so much, Kyle! You are such an amazing teacher, and I can’t wait to learn more from you. Keep up the videos for us architects!

Hello. I found your video very helpful. I was wondering if you could advise where to go to learn about wind direction and sun-tracking for a project. Thanks in advance.
@kylesinko2 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot! For wind direction, in Australia I refer to the Bureau of Meteorology. A simple google search for "wind direction Adelaide.." or wherever can find good sites. For sun tracking, A great way is through modelling software with geolocating tools like Sketchup or Revit. Otherwise, a sun diagram can be found online too by searching "sun diagram Adelaide" etc.

I'm asked to do a Site analysis for my homework but I want to start with a nice picture of the map in TOP VIEW, just like how you portray your site on the map.
