Among the great 80s ballads…yeah, girls were on every guys mind in the 80s lol. The rock & metal just fed the fever. Probably the 2nd best ballad behind “Still Loving You” by the Scorpions (gotta give that a listen for sure, they were one of the absolute best rock bands)

They cut the second slow down bridge in the video, as it quickly went to the second guitar solo. It takes away a little bit from the greatness of this song.

Sadly, the guitarist in band, Ty Longley died in The Station Nightclub fire on February 20, 2003, that claimed the lives of 99 others. He is reportedly to have been credited with saving the lives of three people by using his guitar to smash out a few windows.

The band playing that night had nothing in common with this one except for Russell - they toured as "Jack Russell's Great White" - all the previous members had moved on.

For the 100 people who passed away in The Station House Nightclub fire rip. It's been 20 yrs but every time I hear this band it still makes me think about the night many went to see them and will die 😢
