Just a bit of build feedback -- it's nice to know how it feels leveling and at cap, but some solo footage would be very beneficial. Often you say it is easy and great for leveling, but all of the footage is always in full groups, which distorts how effective it is. Thanks for the build!

I've been enjoying archmage too on the regular servers & combined with the metamagic cost reductions in the epic trees plus gear too, it's awesome fun being able to run with all metamagics on full burn & relatively minimal extra cost. I went with primal avatar as his main destiny since I'm also using some melee skills plus magus as the secondary, it doesn't have as much big hit damage but has a solidly consistent damage output & the shared mantle with the PM skelly plus werewolf & dino summons lets them have a significant punch.

It takes some getting used to, but the 1st-level bolt spells deal solid damage to a single target for only 2 SP. Since they cap at 10, they're generally good to use from level 3 to level 12. I use them for ranged targets that haven't aggroed yet. More often, however, I use them as touch-range spells. For comparison: Shocking Bolt (2 SP): 10d6+20 at caster level 10. Range: Ray. Shocking Grasp (4 SP): 5d6+10 at caster level 5. Range: Touch. Wizards don't have a shared cool down for the different elemental bolt spells, but Sorcs do.

Thanks for this- just started a WF wizard and have been underwhelmed by Eldritch sword focus. This looks way better and already went over to Fred to swap some feats

I'm currently playing a MC Bladeforged Paladin/Wizard and having Reconstruct as a SLA early levels was ridiculous! Having 2x Reconstructs on different cooldowns is even more so. Can full heal in reaper and keep blasting. ;)

Gnome Illusion archmage could be worth looking into with 3 PK spells available. And get dark illusionist greater color spray. Then weird in epics

This build is flat out unkillable and it wipes out entire rooms. Ive taken it to lvl 32 three times on hardcore so far.
