I almost pulled the trigger today on a 25. I got the email notification from TNK that he had some stock. Gone now of course. I'll wait for the next batch I guess. Lord knows I have many other CRK's to keep me occupied until then. Looks awesome though! I'm looking forward to a small 25 as well.

True, that ten+ years ago there were not nearly as many Sebenza-like knives as there are now (the knife market has really come a long way since then). But, so many people who are newer to knives and started with more tactical modern offerings like ZT or Benchmade, try a Sebenza and they aren't as impressed, if not totally disenchanted, as we were when we first got one. I got my first one, a small regular, in 2003 and that experience is still with me even if the knife isn't. It blew my mind, and while I have many other kinds of knives that I love, the Sebenza is still the highest quality made, not to say others are lesser quality, but the Seb is overbuilt. For example, Spydero these days is putting out some of the highest quality control knives available, they really care about the details. Even Emerson and Strider have been forced by the market to improve fit and finish whereas they never cared before. I like all of these for different reasons that I could talk about for hours, but if I had to pick one folding knife and one only it would still be a Sebenza.

As of yet I didn't have any issues with any CRK or ZT.. still cutting like a sebenza.. only very, very few do that.

i like that they are made in idaho. incidentally i used to live in meridian which is where they are based out of. this looks like a nice knife. do you think the lack of an overtravel stop detracts from its rigidity?

Though I have not handled a 25 yet. I'm leaning towards just keeping my 21's. I just can't like the look of the new knives

I'm torn between the simplicity/reliability of the Sebenza 21 and the obvious improvements/complexity of the ceramic lockface of 25. Slowly, I think I will warm up to the 25... maybe not.

I hate the "IDAHO MADE" on the handle. I still prefer the "regular" version.
