Best every day watch you can buy. 5K dependable built like a tank like a Land Cruiser. I can wear Rolex Panerai IWC and I choose this every day. It’s under the radar and as they say if you know you know. Nice review.

I’m wearing my Pelagos MN-FXD on an NDC strap. I hate bracelets and fixed strap bars (not spring bars) are great. I had a Submariner but sold it because I never bonded with it despite it being a great, well-built watch with a solid movement. The dull titanium was exactly what I was looking for. A word about NDC straps - Jacko sourced the material from the same factory that made the straps for the parachute bags the Marine Nationale used - it’s heavier elastic compared to what other companies offer. Even Erika’s Originals isn’t as good.

The only thing thats gone up at Chris Reeves is the price.
@chanabhaji27262 ай бұрын
I would say the quality doesn't justify the price anymore.

I got a 2010 large sebenza 21 and it’s pretty bitchin. No idaho made mark, the stone wash still looks really good and not matte. The flat side of the thumb lug is smooth and polished whereas later they would machine into it or leave it looking like a cast part that looks like a crazy bird eye instead of a blue jewel like flat polished surface.

The 2008 debut of the Umnumzaan with that iconic pivot won bladeshow knife of the year. It’s one that Chris said at the time encompassed everything in knife making he’d learned to that point. I really believed that it’s a boss knife that was changed unfortunately because people complained about it at the time about the lock bar tension and access and eventually they changed it for the worse. My favorite Sebenza 21 is when they still had the single sided pins or even the classic’s but up until about 2008 or 2009. After that they made changes that I did not prefer.

I like CRK knives, but I won’t own one again. The large are too large for me and the small is too tiny. If only they made a medium. Too bad.

You mentioned having two tables saws. The cordless and what is the second one?

I like CRK, but I truly wish they made a “medium” sized knife. The small is too small for me and the large is too large. :(

The Zach Wood pry bars are aesthetically and in their usefulness top notch. Without the bottle opener and in the CPM 3v I hardly couldn’t resist to buy one.

The holes in the washers are purposely built to hold grease and increase the longevity of the lubrication.

Oh and sorry i forgot what i actually came to say lol. I have a crkt Jenny wren. Far less expensive made of sk5 steel and i love it. Its light but has a lot of power for its size. And its just a joy to throw. I bought one for 100 canadian. So you could probably get it around 60 usd. I have an rmj shrike in 4140 and the sk5 holds an edge about the same and is also super easy to sharpen but its not quite as tough. But not something youd probably notice.

Rockwell is important for certain given uses. Such as folding knives..the higher the rockwell the better the wear resistance against wearing abrasion. But if you have a hard use tool rockwell is less important. You still wouldnt want it too soft or it just wont take or hold an edge at all. But geometry is the most important..the heat treat then the steel type.

I bought this knife several months ago. I only paid $99.95 for it online. You definitely over paid for it. I do really like it . The one problem is the pocket clip. It came loose after only a couple weeks of carrying it.

I thought the washers have holes in them so that they can be large but have reduced friction due to the holes. Just my thought tho. They're so tight I fell not much can get in there

I keep mine in my wallet, unbelievably good. They lock on, you can let go they won’t move, strong one guy demonstrated which a cheater bar 150 ft pounds to remove a nut, size weight and strength ratio is out of this world. They even slip into jeans fifth pocket only time you notice they are there is when cycling and it’s still not uncomfortable.

Hello, I know this is three years later and maybe you still have the amp or fixed your problem. First with the fuzz and the amp. The amp is already distorted at high volume because this is the charadter of the amp and adding the pedal is going to make it worse. The pedal should be used with bigger amps which dont breakup early. 30 to 100 watts. Have you tried plugging your amp to a speaker cabinet and see if the problems follows?

Chanellock, like Tazer, is a brand name, not the name of the instrument. They are called tongue and Grove pliers and many brands make them. Therefore only Channellock makes Chanellocks just like only Leatherman makes Leathermans. Calling all tongue and groove pliers chanellocks is like calling all plier based multitools from any brand "Leatherman".
