Unfortuantely it isnt, being able to play their songs is one thing. Being a great fit to all the other bandmates, the crew that they have, (and the fans) and being able to tour together for weeks and not smash each others skulls is easily the hardest part in choosing the right person for the job. You just dont want to go through the whole process just to figure out the playing is their but the match isn’t it so right after putting all the money down for all the promotion of “the new player”, all the time invested, you need to dismiss and do it all over again. Very underestimated. Can he play? YES 🤟🏼

@@Jaap-Relou Plus it is Kevin Paradis full time job as i understood. So i don't know if the band is hiring, or just use the search for a new drummer as an opportunity to have free exposition and find a free drummer. But if the band hire and pay a drummer, Kevin is a legitimate and logical choice

I’m not a drummer. I don’t know how to even approach playing these songs. I’ve seen many of the auditions and to me there is two. However… this guy is the only one that looks relaxed while playing. He doesn’t look like the song is kicking his ass. He looks like he could play the whole set and not be gassed after two songs. If you watch the other guys in the band play live they also look relaxed and in control. This guy has my vote. Not like my vote means anything. Good luck to all of those auditioning.

Went to archspire last year in Nijmegen. And there was this band playing before them. They where actually better then the headliners. The sound was clear you could hear every note they play. And it was f-ing tight. This bands name was benighted
