:48 is one of my favorite passages in any Archspire song. Hilariously long gravity blast. nice cover!

hey, got any tips for the tapping section specifically the high melody on 1:47 mark? i can't quite get the melody right despite playing it over and over and i'm wondering if you are supposed to play it with pull offs or rather tap all the notes? thanks in advance
@RyuGuitars11 ай бұрын
I haven’t played this song in forever but yeah I’m definitely doing pulloffs in the high melody/descending section. I remember the pull offs being hard to keep muted and clean because of how hard you have to pull off to really accentuate the note. It’s sort of like you tap into a super slight bend so that you have that the pull off has enough force to sound more distinct. Let me know if you have anything else I could answer!

Man stop. Archspire doesn’t work like that! You have to struggle to death and not just play it so chill! XD No but seriously, your playing is insane! Thank you for the great covers man. Also what would you rank the songs of this album in difficulty? I’m tying to learn a few but don’t know where to start. I only learned bleed the future so far.
@RyuGuitars Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment! This album is most definitely their toughest yet. I’m a few days out from finishing all songs from Lucid Collective and I’ll be done with Archspire’s discography (except all shall align). This is how I’d rank the difficulty: 1. Drain of Incarnation 2. Golden mouth of ruin 3. AUM 4. Reverie on the onyx 5. Drone corpse aviator 6. Abandon the linear 7. Acrid Cannon 8. Bleed the future Keep in mind it’s been over a year since I finished these so a couple could be interchanged. Good luck on learning them!

That's sick dude, this album is so good. Do you enjoy deathcore? If so you should cover some bands like: Shrine of Malice, Worm Shepherd and Until We Die or other tech death bands like Inferi and Spawn of Possession or First Fragment! You're amazing at what you do by the way 🤘
@RyuGuitars2 жыл бұрын
I listen(ed) to most of the bands you listed but I thought I’d cover this entire album first as I spent money on the tabs but I like to primarily play Tech death over deathcore these days. I might start working on a couple rings of Saturn songs or might do apparition by spawn of possession. Thanks for the kind words!

So then this song is possible to play on a 7 string? I thought they used 8’s which bummed me out cuz I only have a 7 string 😂
@RyuGuitars2 жыл бұрын
This song is pretty 7 string friendly but a couple of other songs I had to play the next octave up and change how I play it but all of these songs are definitely possible on a 7 string

@@S1LVERflyin interesting that Beyond Creation went through the exact same change on their last album - from 6-7-8 to 6-8-8. Kinda wish that didn't happen, just because the two guitarists having different instruments for different purposes is a cool idea not really seen in any other subgenre of metal
