I was just saying yesterday how rare it is for a tech band to have both great songwriting, and star power, but to me Archspire has both. I love how modern and personable they are, while still feeling a little larger than life in their presence and personalities. They've even got a great social media presence that doesn't feel pretentious, or out-of-touch. I know they're not similar bands, per se, but they almost remind me of early TBDM in the way that the seriousness of their chops contrasts with their humorous side. If this was 2006 I could see them putting out a banger of a two disc DVD set.

I disagree with the song Archspire being a terrible song. I think it’s pretty damn good but that’s just my opinion. Plus it is on KZbin. The recording quality isn’t as good as there newer albums but it’s still brutal. I hope they do a remaster/rerelease of that album.
