You are gifted at describing a game. I was amazed at your review and explanations; really good job.

Interesting... the combat looks like the unholy union of Transistor and Superhot, and that's very cool!

I really enjoyed my time with Arco, but I had some NASTY performance issues on the Switch version. Doesn't sound like that was an issue on your end, but hope to see the game improve upon that.

Ah yeah, all too common on Switch ports sadly. Bummer to hear!

@IDreamofIndie for sure. Figured I'd break out the Switch for once since getting the Steam Deck. So we'll stick with PC from now on 😅😅

Awesome that you have a Steam Deck! It has become our preferred handheld too. Honestly haven't turned on a Switch for this channel in about 2 years now.

Why don’t you guys give it a score? I totally get it and realize not everyone wants to be like IGN or all the other people that give scores but it’s just what people are use to. A score is easily identifiable. I don’t have a clue what a silver lamp really means. Granted you gave your pros and cons but a score would just be so much better to tie it all together. That said, I enjoy the content keep up the good work.
@IDreamofIndie2 ай бұрын
We have 3 tiers for lamps, good for bronze, great for silver, and essential for gold! So to simplify things for you a silver means it is a great game! (It says this under the awarded lamp too) We really just aren't fans of reducing games to numbers because we believe they are much more than that! Glad you are enjoying the content and hope that's helpful!

I prefer reviews without scores because I have to actually watch or read the review and consider the reviewer's reasoning rather than simply skip ahead to the score at the end to save time, something I'm often guilty of in video reviews that give scores. I can't resist the temptation.
@Over_Toasted2 ай бұрын
@@acrophobeAlso I think a categorical rating like IDOIG uses is actually easier to understand. They basically are just telling us what is good and bad and what they recommend. Number ratings can be confusing as there aren't standardized rating keys leaving the audience clueless about the specific criteria that was graded.

Imo, scores have become pretty useless. These days people think 6 means it's absolutely horrible, 7 is ok but not great, 8 is decent, 9 good 10 is great. It kind of defeats the point of having a 1-10 score

Scores are the worst! Welcome to the brave new world where people actually have to read the review or at least understand how the reviewer's Pros and Cons apply to them
