Actually one of the easier things to figure out is that your foe doesn't know what they're doing so you just wait until they randomly do something unsafe and punish it every time.

There actually are some "proximity low/overhead" moves in some fighters, where if you hit close up it's not a mid but further away it becomes one. Most definitely not what this speaker was trying to clarify for us, but he isn't technically entirely wrong. Also for future notice for the I-no trailer when the speak about jumping overheads, there do in fact exist some jumping lows too (Sonico from Nitro+ has them, and yeah she's top tier).

You also get "special low" or "special "mid" etc that have low or mid attack properties but can be blocked as a standard normal.

Aesthetics, or kit? Because the kit is fairly standard, oki on a delayed projectile and these branches for the rekka are all fairly universal across 2D fighters. He does look fantastic, but "male fan dancer" isn't that out there in a franchise with fucking Bedman in it.
