The DryPack 70 is an awesome continuation of the Naos series. Wish they had a smaller version with the Load Transfer Disc that I could take everywhere and would fit IATA carry-on maximum dimensions of 21.5 x 13.5 x 7.5 inches. Preferably also in grey to not freak out TSA every time I visit the States.

David, the DryPack 40 is to large, won't fit the IATA carry-on maximum dimensions (and also misses the Load Transfer Disk)

If you are willing to spend that much on a backpack, check out the "fast pack edc 2015" from triple aught design,it's 32 liters and fits the IATA max dimensions and comes in black, several multicam patterns, coyote and olive drab and it also has a build in drybag if your into that. They also have a 22 litre version.From my perspective, it seems to be the be the best backpack i have ever seen but unfortunatly, I don't own it yet.

Can not see the TAD Fast Pack EDC replace my Berghaus Munro + Sea2Summit Ultra Sil drybags. The lack of a proper waist belt is a no go. My Munro has seen a lot of beating and after 6 years it still looks brand new. Still wish I had a smaller and lighter version of my beloved Arc'teryx Naos 55.

Why would they have their weapons in a bag? Any purpose built weapon system is already over the beach capable. It doesn't matter if it gets wet or dirty.

No, and certainly not in the scenario the video has portrayed. So Im gonna carry some extra bags and shit so my weapon won't get wet or dirty? Whats more, if you come over the beach with your weapon in some bag and you make contact with bad guys are you gonna take a "time out" so you can get your dry and clean weapon out of a dry storage bag? At that point it won't matter. Realistically, If I was worried about my weapon getting wet and dirty I own the wrong weapon.

Oh Now I see at :56 what your saying, they are ready to shoot. So then how do they pull the trigger with the weapon in this bag? Are they not going to have to take the weapon out of the bag at some point, or will they carry it around in the bag for the entire mission so that it won't get dirty? If they have to stop and remove the weapon from the bag at any point this is a hazard. My long gun operates just fine after submerged in water. It has been buried in mud, sand and dirt and continues to function without issue. You have no idea what you are talking about. Your most likely upset because you probably bought one of these bags and don't even own a gun. Your a Dipshit.

I hold factory Armorer certifications from various manufacturers such as Colt, Glock, etc. Unfortunately such things don't seem to matter much to the typical KZbin viewer who is predisposed to push the facts out of the way to make room for their opinions. You do not want water in your barrel. Standard training for waterborne operations teaches how to drain the water quickly and quietly. Better still is to keep it out of your barrel to start with. Hence the bag. And yes, you can easily pull the trigger through the bag wall

+Threat_Dynamics Yes, absolutely correct, Try firing a weapon with water in the barrel unless like say a Walther PPQ Navy that is designed to fire under water.

+SpaceCityBeats If you observe closely these bags are designed to be fireable while wrapped. Notice the hands on stance the operators are using. If you cannot see the utility of such a device I would imagine you have never been out in the field for any length of time in a marine salt water environment using weapons. Watch again and pay attention to how they are carrying their weapons and ask yourself why they would do that if not able to fire from the case.
