We caught the series on Tubi. Never heard of it before, but loved it. An impressive cast of varied characters, i liked how they interacted w each other, the issues they dealt with, interesting plots, and of course the Canadian scenery was beautiful. Very underrated, more ppl should be watching it. We just saw the series finale its a shame it only lasted 3 seasons, the finale had all sorts of plots for future storylines, but budget cuts did the show in (granted, it was an expensive program to make). In an interview Pascale Hutton (Krista) said the cast really felt thet hit their stride in Season 3 (i agree) its a shame it didnt continue on. To many stupid idiotic shows seem to stay on forever while to many good ones dont last long enough. This is one of the good ones! :)

One of my absolute favorite Canadian productions of late is "Flashpoint". I think it's just wonderful. I saw the "pilot" (pardon the pun) for Arctic air a few days ago. I wasn't overly enthused. Maybe it will get better. Another good show (imo) is Rookie Blue. I hope this one improves, cos I'm a real Adam Beach fan.

I watched the show and the only reason I did was because my high school buddy acts in it (aleks paunovic) but it's not good ,and it really reminds me of the show ice pilots cmon cbc!

@TheYozStudios funny you should mention that because i recently saw a commercial for the new season of ice pilots. i can't remember the exact wording but it went a little like this: "more danger!...more excitement!... and more FIGHTS!..." it then cut into several seconds of clips of the members of the show yelling at each other and throwing hissy fits. i was like: "ok... don't think i'll be tuning into that one..."

@wasteofspace1234 same here. i'm hoping that it has lots of focus on the flying aspect and the northern topography, as i have always wanted to fly around up there. i also would like to see focus on the logistics of northern business and infrastructure and maybe not too much time spent on love triangles :)

CBC is funny, it's like they create shows almost as an advertising method. First we have Republic of Doyle in Newfoundland, and now this. I'm a newfoundlander and I just find ROD a bit silly, because they make St. John's seem like this big metropolis crime haven, and this show seems a bit rediculous as well.

@SwankSong Sadly, CBC refuses rerun old Beach again. Petitions, letters and emails have all fallen on deaf ears. Unless there are major changes in the programming dept Beach will wither away with the other classic programs of a bygone era.

I want to see those young ladies rolling fuel drums up a Dak floor, on a hot day, stripped to the waist (because on a hot day you would die if you didn't). No blackflies please, it'd ruin the atmosphere, and their flawless skin. Can't see why they have so many engines burning in the previews, since it seems they never have enough fuel in the tanks to sustain a fire! Honestly, the only way this show could be made interesting to real pilots, male OR female, would be if the cast WAS naked. CBCrap.

doesn't it always seem CBC is a decade behind with their content. They need younger producers there. There all overpaid public executives from decades ago, trying to hold onto the old CBC model of sub-par Canadian TV shows for an old Canadian audience. Wake up CBC!
