I rode a 15 Terrain Dominator the last 2 years and before that a 13 Xm also for 2 seasos. The Poo is a awesome sled and rode my buddies Axys quite a bit last season, an even better sled. You've got to give it to Polaris light weight and the stiffest chassis on the market just works in the mountains. But I wouldn't own either for over 2k miles. You do give up a lot of durability the lighter you go. The Xm is another sled I love, that etec motor is just amazing, but you have to be careful not to whack the front end too hard, even with bracing it bends. They really worked miracles taking the xp chassis which was one of the worst mountain sleds into one that is one of the best. Miles were up on my Poo at the end of last season so needed a new ride for this year. Was really planning on buying a new Axys but I've been hearing so much about this 16 cat I had to try it. Owned a 12 Pro climb so I'm no stranger to the chassis. It may be the heaviest of the class but I think the chassis and the engine are the most reliable out there. I know my 12 Pro Climb even with a few mods was not quite on par with the Poo or Doo but I did love the ride the best. So I'll be the only one in our group riding a Cat this year. Can't wait to get all 3 brands out in the trees this year and see just how good it really is!

Awesome! Can't wait till I can afford one. Haha. @Todd Tupper, still ripping your 2010 RMSHA Stock HCR up in Tahoe! Where can I get new rail braces? Thnx and keep up the great work! AC all day!

I will say. Arctic cat needs a big hcr type rail brace for the 141 skid. I broke 2 sets of rails and bent the last set on my 13 last winter.

The m8000 limited is heavier when hand loading then the Polaris SKS but when it comes down to riding i prefer the m8000, definitely has more punch at higher speed

What about the new pro rmk`s? Because they have the most power, lightest, strongest, and most flickable sleds out their today. I'm in the market for a new sled, been with polaris for countless years and now all other brands are pretty much the same. I think I'm going with polaris but have looked at cat, but from years of knowing they are not close to polaris now.

All about rider preference, On paper the polaris RMK looks better. But honestly I find the new cats to feel better to me based on my preference. All sleds are damn near the same these days, just with different colors and stickers

Travis Myers Very true. I just find the pro more narrow and skinnier (if you know what I mean). I've ridden pretty well all, your right all are just about the same. I mean it is personal preference, because mine is the pro rmk. You`s may be the cats, and other ski doo and yamaha. Over time though they all do the job the same no matter if it 2 hp more or 10 hp more or even 50lbs lighter or heavier.

Travis Myers but polaris uses glue these days and im pretty sure that a glued together sled cant be very strong and reliable.. just sayin1

Anthony Rodriguez All of you say Polaris is this, and that. I will say this that you guy`s just don`t seem to see that their not. Like I've got a 2011 assault 800. I never had a problem. And I will tell you that I'm no brand loyal, but I just buy what I think is best and polaris is doing a fine job at making me happy with their sleds. Also if they were put together with glue they would be shut down already for all those reasons. It`s as easy as me saying Kitty cat`s are belt eaters, and Ski-doo`s engines blow at low mileage. Because that`s what I see from most friend`s and family. Same when I had an 09 summit. Blew it at 700 miles with really no mods.
