Frank is looking well. We were at one Rec site, nobody else and a camper comes in and parks next to us. Could of parked in any of the 20 free sites, nope. Their nearly newborn cried all night. I can't imagine how that evening went for them. I think the baby was too brand new for camping No snow in Tofino but no where to free camp anymore 😞 The Island is getting too crowded as well. Less free land, more people, more rules and gates.

I walked to the library for movies and exercise. Been in house for 4 days. I have a 2 wheel drive light truck so its not safe in 16 inches of snow. I have food, hobbies and a great heating unit. Life is good! Way to be smart! I'll get out for sure tomorrow, warmer temps.

I am so looking forward to this & hearing you mention incredibly cold temperatures, I'm hoping you'll share how you layer your clothing, particularly for your legs, to keep the cold & damp at bay. I'm here in relatively cozy Montreal, Quebec, where right now it feels like -20C (-4F) & my fibromyalgia pain & knee pain from a torn meniscus flare whenever I go outside. I already wear merino wool leggings but could use additional tips if either you or anyone reading this have some to share. Ah I might have to make a short about this because I am pretty tolerant to the cold so I didn’t even think to talk about layering. I’ve never done it but you could use a tensor bandage to hold a hand warmer on your knee above your thermals but below your pants so at least your knee stays warm on outings.

Anything polyester fleece, non breathing fabric works best for me. I love wool but fabric made from petroleum products traps heat like no other.

Love your adventures. Please don't put yourself in danger for a good thumbnail. Not worth it because your beautiful photography of the snow/landscape would be as good if not better!! Love the shot of the little trees growing on the large tree burl. You don't see that everyday, so thanks. You have a great eye for photography and I think that is one of the reasons I started to follow you so, keep up the good work.
