Correct, it looks like he kept the card he dug for in his hand. Ultimately, it didn't matter because it didn't win him the contested resource. Still, that card shouldn't have been in his hand.

yeah it felt like he wanted to show what he had gained but seems like a weird thing to do intentionally so it must have been a genuine mistake but he knew what he just pulled so why hold it back? makes no sense to me

Maybe have two people who know the game play. Plus keep the background noise out. It’s distracting. There’s a lot of distracting parts to this video.
