You've ever tryed Borknagar then? It is a band very similar to arcturus. Quintessence is a great album. ICS Vortex was of that band in those days and sings on that album just like he sings in this song and in other songs of Sideshow Symphonies. He sings in other albums aswell from arcturus but in those he is just a back vocalist

I can't stand metal, but this band (together with Ulver) is one of my all-time favorites

You should hear more black metal dude, like Ulver, Borknagar, Vintersorg, Falkenbach and such, where all of them have fantastic singers.

Dimmu Borgir is my favorite band of all time, and i dont give a fuck about what people say about them now. But goddamn im glad that Vortex reunited Arcturus, theyre were TOO amazing of a band to have been broken up!!

Both, even more on the clean side or 50/50. Anyway. Did you heard Borknagar's The Archaic Course? Vortex did vocals there and the whole album is like 85% clean vocals.

yes, I've tried Borknagar, Winds, Peccatum, all Scandinavian, european and even Canadian "avant-garde" metal bands and liked none of them (though I can't say that they're not interesting at all)
@Zhinarkos16 жыл бұрын
Yeah, you can easily get lost in to this music. Too bad the band broke up

That is a tragedy for metal sounds.

I agree actually. Usually he's damn good, but this album so far, for me, has been a bit bad on his part; Sure, clean vocals are good, and his voice is, but this isn't striking any good notes or anything.
