Monster album. At times I feel exhausted listening to it. When "Jugulator" by Judas Priest was released I was exhausted by the end of it by the sheer energy and unexpected brutality of it. And of course, Ripper Owens' vocal performance was superb, Rob Halford wouldn't have pulled it off. This album gives me similar vibes, but I prepared for the onslaught. My ears weren't accustomed to it in 1997.

I'll have to check out that new Priest. I saw them twice as a teen. Defenders of the Faith, Screaming for Vengeance tours . I was a young punk rocker, spikey hair, chain and spikes, suicidal tendencies shirt , engineer boots. Nobody tried to trip

Pretty ballsy to debut with a single 30+ minute song that isn't even very overtly proggy. Impressed by how varied it's been nearly a third of the way in. EDIT: finished the whole thing, hell of a debut fellas.

Jako całość płyta męcząca a w szczególności w pierwszej połowie, później jest więcej przestrzeni. Myślę, że lepszym efektem byłoby te 35 min. podzielić na utwory niż jak to jest teraz w formie jednego kawałka. Okładka bardzo fajna i koszulka z tą grafiką wygląda świetnie.
